Volunteers Needed

The Fletcher Flyer is on Sunday, June 6th.  Smoky Mtn Bicycles normally teams up with several other bicycle shops in Asheville to do a rest stop!  (Youngblood Bicycles and Pro-Bikes).  This year, since Pam and Dave are riding the Fletcher Flyer, we will not be able to man the rest stop.  However, we are looking to see if any volunteers/suckers might be willing to do the rest stop on our behalf or in our place.  This is a very big rest stop with approximately 2000 riders and you can not make PB&J fast enough.  They normally need at least 6 total volunteers and usually there are 2-3 people from each shop.  Since it's the 2nd rest stop, you will have to be in Asheville fairly early and would be done after lunch.  You will be given a lunch ticket and/or tshirt and lunch will be served at Fletcher Park when you are done with rest stop.

It's a great experience to see so many riders and happy faces to receive food/water!  We saw three or four unicycles, including one with a huge wheel... it was interesting to watch him get on and off the unicycle.  Oh, and he was doing the 100 mile route.

Give it some thought and let me know.  I told Craig from Ski Country I would try to let him know by Monday if I could find some volunteers!  Thanks for your help.
