Our final Wednesday Group Road Ride of the season will be from S Macon
Elementary School at Addington Bridge Road at 5:30pm. Please join us at
Monte Alban Mexican Restaurant after bike ride for some good food... oh, and
maybe a margarita!

We appreciate everyone's support this year and every year! We hope to have
some group mountain bike rides during the fall and winter. Don't forget the
Tour de Franklin on Sunday, October 30th!

So, the Blue Ridge Parkway Ride is this Friday, October 14th! Still not
sure what time but I believe everyone will meet at the bike shop and head
over to Balsam area. Please be sure to bring lights due to tunnels and
plenty of food and water! Ride will be approximately 20 miles out and coast
back! This is a great warm up for the Tour de Franklin.

Thanks for everyone who came out to support the WNC OutdoorAthlon! What a
great weekend, with great activities, great music, and great food! Can't
wait for next year!

Group Rides and Blue Ridge Ride

Wednesday Group Road Ride will be from bike shop at 5:30pm. We will be
doing the Burningtown Route.

Also, there will be a Blue Ridge Parkway Ride on Friday if anyone is
interested in going, 20 miles out and 20 miles back... please just let us
know and we will make sure you get the pertinent information.

Don't forget this weekend is the 1st Annual OutdoorATHLON at Cullasaja Park
on Saturday from 12-7 and Sunday from 12-5. Anything and everything outdoor
will be there.. kayaks, rock climbing wall, bike demo's... TONS of clinics
from outdoor pilates, long distance hiking clinics, day hiking clinics and
disc golf clinics. There will be great music too! Come stop by the Smoky
Mountain Bicycle booth for free give-aways and enter into our free raffle to
win some great merchandise!

FW: Group Rides

No more Tuesday Night Ladies and Beginner Rides for the year, due to our
loss of SUNLIGHT! We will begin again in the springtime! I appreciate
everyone who joined us this year! Time for some group mountain bike
rides... are you ready?!

Wednesday Group Road Rides will continue through the end of October. This
week's ride will be from S Macon Elementary at 5:30pm and we will be doing
the Coweeta Lab Loop.

We will begin having some group mountain bike rides during the fall and
winter months. Hope you can join us for some off road fun!

will be riding out Ellijay.

Wednesday Group Road Ride will be from S Macon Elementary on Addington
Bridge Road at 5:30pm. We will be doing Tessentee out and back.

Saturday Group Road Ride will be from S Macon Elementary on Addington Bridge
Road at 8am. Route to be determined.

Tuesday Night Ladies Ride and Beginner Ride will be at 6:15pm at Macon
Middle School on Wells Grove Road! We will be going out Ellijay. Tuesday
Rides will end at the end of September due to Tour de Franklin and Daylight
Savings Time.

Wednesday Group Road Ride will be at 5:30pm from S Macon Elementary School.
We will be doing the Patton Valley Loop. Wednesday Rides will continue
through the end of October!

Tour de Franklin is Sunday, October 30th at 9am. We are offering $5 off
registration through September 15th. Proceeds this year will benefit
Wounded Warrior Projects. www.woundedwarriorprojects.org

We are also looking for volunteers and sponsors for the Tour de Franklin.
