Road Construction

FYI.............I rode Wayah yesterday and they are repairing/paving sections of the climb. I made it to the sign at the one mile marker before having to turning around. They have it shut down to one lane where they are working...... 2-3 weeks before complete. They also told me another crew was working on "Old Murphy Rd" towards Standing Indian. I hope to ride this tomorrow provided they wind isn't too bad. Luckily Tour de Franklin doesn't go that direction........

Weekly Group Rides

This will be the FINAL group Wednesday Road Ride... from S Macon Elementary at 5:30pm. Route to be determined.

Dave is hoping to be there at the ride this week... Pam is officially on bedrest and Dave is being worked like a dog.. but please join us for the 7th Annual Tour de Franklin on SUNDAY, October 31st at 9am beginning from the bike shop. Routes are 28 miles, 66 miles and 103 miles. Food to be provided by Big Mtn on the Corner and we will be having pasta this year! Thanks for all of your support and we look forward to our 2011 riding season. We will be having some group mountain bike rides during the fall and winter so keep checking out the blogspot for more information to come!

Wednesday Group Ride

This week's Wednesday Group Ride will be from S Macon Elementary School on Addington Bridge Rd at 5:30pm. Route to be determined.

Wednesday Group Rides are coming to an end.. it's been a great season and we'll wrap up the season with Tour de Franklin on Saturday, October 31st.

Sunday Group Road Ride from Franklin Fitness Center at 10am. Route to be determined.

Weekly Rides

This Wednesday our group ride will be from S Macon Elementary on Addington Bridge Road at 5:30pm. We will be doing the Patton Valley Route.

No Saturday Ride! Sunday Ride at 10am from Franklin Fitness Center.

Don't forget the Tour de Franklin on Sunday, October 31st!

Wednesday Group Road Ride will be from bike shop this week at 5:30pm and we will be doing the Burningtown Loop! Hope to see everyone there!

Sunday Group Road Ride will be at 10:00am from Franklin Fitness Center. Route to be determined.

UPCOMING EVENTS
SABA End of Season Cookout will be at Jack Rabbit Mountain Bike Trails beginning at 1pm on Saturday, September 18th. There will be a "Skills Clinic" at 2pm and group rides during the day... followed by cookout and music. Please go show your support for all the hard work SABA has done for Jack Rabbit Trail system.
